The Village

The Mission

To empower and challenge our community to show up and do the work through movement, mental health awareness, and heart work. We promise to lead courageously with inclusion, vulnerability, grace, and accountability. This work allows for infinite possibilities of growth and connection both on and off the mat.

The Beliefs

As a collective, we believe we must lean in and hold space for one another while at the same time holding each other responsible in our day-to-day lives. We believe that movement should be inclusive, affordable, and accessible. We believe in creating a space that is founded on being vulnerable, being real, and giving grace to those that need it most. This space allows us to shed what no longer serves us, this space allows us to just BE. We believe that vulnerability is the gateway to living a bold, beautiful, and courageous life full of authenticity. We believe in holding each other accountable to just show up and do the work that works. We believe in sweaty flows, long hugs, sharing stories, and the power of music. We believe we must move to release the excess that builds in our day-to-day life. These beliefs become our tools to be fearless in the pursuit of happiness and we challenge you to lock sweaty arms with us and believe that truly it takes a Village.

The Why

In case you’ve forgotten, you can do hard things. No one is coming, it’s up to us. We must do the work ourselves, and WHY NOT! Somewhere along the line, we got lost. We got lost in changing diapers, making lunches, sleepless nights, over committing, long workdays, and so much more. It’s so easy to get lost in the busy-ness of life, or if we’re really being clear, getting lost in the idea that being busy means you’re successful. You don’t even notice it happening, but one day, you’ll look up, see yourself in the mirror and ask, who am I and how did I get here? The idea of The Village was born out of necessity, the necessity to have the highest form of self love and to the work. Unapologetic self love allows you to show up as your truest self. This love leads you to become a better partner, a better parent, a better friend, and a better person. Reframe your narrative and join us. Time to find yourself, your self love and do the work… WHY NOT?!
