About Caitlyn
“Hi! I’m Caitlyn Garrison, lover of travel, mountains, yoga and poetry. I am Trauma Informed Adaptive Therapeutic Yoga Teacher and have been teaching since 2017 after I quit my full time job to do exactly this, what I love. My passion for yoga and it’s healing qualities have fueled me to pursue a 300HR Adaptive Therapeutic Teacher training after my Ashtanga Vinyasa 200HR. I started teaching Therapeutically and Trauma informed in a private setting right after my 300HR and continue to do so on a daily basis. When I’m not teaching privately, I love to teach a fun and challenging flow, with funky transitions and peak poses to keep the mind and body engaged. You’ll never catch me teaching a class that doesn’t include some kind of core work! As much as I love to go hard, I always recognize the variety of structural differences in each and every one of us, so I do my best to accommodate every students needs by providing variations and modifications. When I’m not teaching flow, I love love LOVE to facilitate sound healing meditations using the crystal sound bowls, host poetry writing sessions using narrative psychology, and all kinds of fun, creative, connection based workshops!”
